Wildwood Infant Daycare Center
Programs For Infants
At Today’s Children of Wildwood, our lullaby room is a place where your baby feels safe, secure and happy. We hold our relationships with every family as a very special trust; therefore our loving teachers work closely with you in order to develop your child’s daily schedule including nap times, play times and bottle times. In addition, personal cribs, separate areas for changing and feeding, and our shoe-free policy ensure clean playing, eating, learning, and sleeping spaces. We document diaper changes, naps, and feedings on a form that goes home with you every evening.

Curriculum
Social/Emotional Development
Our loving teachers spend time rocking, cuddling, and interacting closely with your baby. We play simple games, such as peek-a-boo and so big, and we offer enthusiastic attention when your baby makes new discoveries.
Language Development
Reading aloud is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development. It not only stimulates language and cognitive skills; it also builds motivation, curiosity, and memory. Therefore, our teachers value the importance of providing one-to-one time throughout the day reading picture books with your baby. In addition, your child will experience quiet tones and smiling faces as our loving teachers talk them through their day, recite nursery rhymes, sing aloud, and learn social interactions such as waving goodbye and blowing kisses. We enthusiastically celebrate each new language development or attempt at communication!
Physical Development
Babies get constant ”exercise” by going through their regular daily routine of feeding, playing, and growing. As your baby builds muscle and gets mobile we provide padded mats for him to move about safely in his surroundings. Frequent opportunities are given for your baby to stretch and kick his legs, push up, roll, crawl, scoot, walk and sit with and without support.
Intellectual Development
Loving and warm caregiving encourages infants to explore their environment, which is the basis for learning. Our teachers show warmth and love by constantly holding, rocking, singing, playing, and talking with your baby. Our lullaby rooms provide bright colored toys for visual stimulation and motivation, as well as musical toys to stimulate auditory feedback and teach cause and effect. Touch-feely books and other toys with various textures give your infant interesting tactile experiences. Our goal is to encourage exploration, which leads to brain development and your infant reaching intellectual development milestones.
